Zero-retention mode
A vendor configuration that discards audio (and sometimes transcripts) immediately after note generation.
Zero-retention mode discards the audio recording — and in stricter variants, the transcript — as soon as the note is produced. It is offered by several AI scribe vendors to meet clinic policies or state laws that discourage audio retention. Confirm exactly what is discarded, when, and how it is proven.
