Two-party consent
State-law requirement that everyone in a conversation consents to being recorded.
Two-party (or all-party) consent laws require every participant in a conversation to consent before it is recorded. California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Washington are the notable US examples. Clinics in these states must obtain patient consent before enabling an ambient scribe.
