LLM (large language model)
The AI model that turns transcript into a structured note.
A large language model is a neural network trained on text to predict and generate language. AI scribes use LLMs to convert the raw transcript of a visit into a structured clinical note. Some vendors run proprietary healthcare-tuned LLMs; others call commercial APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) under a BAA.
